ABOUT PAUL EWART
Paul Ewart is a Bondi-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans sculpture, painting and hand-finished fine-art photography.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Paul studied at Manchester School of Art before building an award-winning career as a journalist and television producer across the UK, Middle East and Australia. His decades of storytelling and image-making continue to shape his approach to contemporary art.
His work explores identity, perception, mythology and the human form, often examining the space between opposing perspectives, strength and vulnerability, and the relationship between body and landscape.
Based in Bondi for more than a decade, Paul works from his home studio, drawing inspiration from the coastline, ancient mythology and the ever-changing relationship between people and their environment.
